Heading to Africa

I'm off to Botswana Tuesday for a month long military exercise with the Botswana Defense Force. First time I ever saw the words Land Rover in a mitary briefing! We'll be in the middle of the Kalahari and at a base in Theb, so won't be able to post pics until near the end of August, but I hear this is going to be a major Land Rover sighting event!

We might have a Layover in the Azores, so potential sightings there too. Anybody been to the Azores? Things to see?

Hi,

Sounds awesome, we are off to Africa tomorrow. Flying into Livingstone Zambia and picking up a white 110 Defender and travelling to Windhoek in Namibia via Botswana. Not going to the Kalahari though just Chobe park and the Okavango delta. That will be next week then on to Namibia.

Have a great time, wish I was getting paid to go :-) give a wave to a couple of Brits if we get lost and find ourselves in the Kalahari
