thanks for the great advice. There is a big difference in MPG between trucks. A friend of mine's Diesel Land Cruiser averages 9.7L/100km. Just food for thought, trucks are NOT created equal

+1 The extra 5mpg that the Montero gets over the Land Cruiser was a big selling point for me. That translates into $685 over the course of our trip. Which is 10 days more of travel.
