Ever since I saw it, (here on the forum) I've loved this!

An inspired use of an RTT reconfigured to pop top camper duties.

It's got mountains, it's got rivers, it's got sights to give you shivers, but it sure would be prettier with you.

There's a 6x6 Pinz currently on Ebay based in Brisbane. Would that work?

The 1KZ-T seems like a good fit and adequate powerwise, and parts etc. are readily awailable...

I have driven mogs (316) and the Volvo is more confortable, cheaper, easier to work on, so a good bet if you don't need the size of the mog.
    Hi Christian.

Did you use the Toyota Tansfercase? What sort of cruise speed do you get with the XZLs? Have you looked at aftermarket parabolics , discs , power steer kits, etc that I see are now available? I realise this is an old thread but any info would be much appreciated as I realise there is far more knowledge base on these chassis in your corner of the world.

    Thanks John.
