Default Ford Ranger PX 2.2 TDCI Ex-Cab

    Hi Folks,

after getting in trouble with my 2004 Ford Ranger TD my Wife and me thinking its time
    for a new Truck.

Ford bring the new Ranger Series all over the World ( yes I know, not to the US Market) and
after I see it I think, yes thats it.

Yesterday I received our new Rig, and after bring it Home ( nearly 400 KM) I was very impressed.

The Size is absolut simular to your Toyota Tacomas, but the Engine is totaly different to nearly
everything that you can buy on the US market.

Its a 2.2 Comonrail Direct Injection Turbodiesel, its got 150 HP and the Maximum Torque is 375 NM
    from 1500 - 2750 RPM.

I will start a mild building for travel and overlanding, first I take the Plattform for my Dog and the fridge
from my old Rig and bring it to the new one, fits perfect.

Congrats on your new rig! I've been wondering why we haven't seen more international members with Euro rangers on here... I would love to have a diesel Ranger available to me. Please keep the pictures coming. Also eager to see how the Ranger does off road.

Sounds like a nice power plant. Are the tie downs on the box factory?

    Nice truck Stephan!

Understand we (USA) don't have the new Ranger because Ford doesn't want it to compete with the F150. I'll take a Ranger w/a diesel engine like what Stephan has anythime. Over 30 mpg sounds like a winner to me. Since I am dreaming here... would be great to see if offered w/a 36 gallon tank (like the one that comes w/the F150 EcoBoost).

    Thank you!

But the F150 is bigger then the Ranger, I believe they will bite a little bit from Toyotas big seller Tacoma
and not so much from their own Trucks...

If they sold the diesel Ranger here, I would trade in my Mazda B4000 (Ranger) on one in a heartbeat. Congrats on your new truck.
