Default Pics wanted - Mounted BajaRack dual can carrier

I have a Bajarack dual Jerry can carrier. Can't figure where I how I want to mount it in the back of my 09 Tacoma. Ideally I'd have the base in place, and still be able keep a good amount of storage space (in other words, mount in a corner, not dead-center)

Initially I was thinking along the front of the pickup bed, behind the cab. Turns out there's a gas tank on the driver side and an exhaust pipe and muffler on the other. Might be really difficult to get the bolts tightened.

Any pics of where your cans are mounted would be appreciated! Preferably in the bed only - I don't have a roof rack, nor do I plan on getting one at this time.

    Thanks.

Default Maybe a vertical surface instead?..

I haven't seen a dual can carrier of that two-cans-on-their-side style (Bajarack/ARB) mounted inside a truck bed yet, just on roof racks. Not sure if the Bajarack would hold the load as well on a vertical surface (maybe it does), otherwise I'd suggest looking at mounting it to the inside surface of the tailgate instead. That might be a good way to leave your load floor as open and flat as possible with the cans mounted up, and even more so when it's just the empty base. Also, the rear corner of the bed makes for easy access, especially if mounted to the tailgate. Just a thought.

Good luck and let us know what you do.
