Looks like you folks had a great time and it reminded me of my trip through central Idaho in June 2010; it was a very nice trip except for the intermittent rains and the snow blockage on the roads I wanted to take. The only place I posted any type of report (and it was weak) was at city-data.com, since that is where I had received some of my pre-trip info.
Looks like I will try to see if I can put together a decent (though late) trip report of my travels back then.
Overall though, this thread makes me want to visit the area between Challis and Stanley, ID (and a bit to the NW of Stanley) next chance I get as that is the area that enchanted me the most. Tons of side roads, tons of fun!
