Default Collapsible ice / warming chest... Flip-Box

Friend at the outdoor retailer show sent me this link about a product he stumbled upon while there. While not ideal for every situation it does look like it would be handy to have around for some. I like the fact that they can be collapsed and that they can be washed in the dishwasher if needed.

Interesting, but it's just styrofoam, isn't it? From the looks of it I'd be afraid the panels would get randomly snapped/cracked and that the whole thing would squeak like an old styrofoam cooler as well. Yes, I can see this being kept in the family truckster for grocery duty, but I don't think it would live long at the bottom of the pile in the back of my FJ. Just my $.02

Like I said, they probably aren't the ideal solution for everyone but where I come from "half of nothing is nothing." A Yeti Tundra lives in the back of my truck pretty much full time so I probably won't be chasing after one for myself. Don't know how well they actually do with the dishwasher safe claims as I've never tried to wash a standard run of the mill Styrofoam cooler but they do look interesting.

Says it's made from polypropylene, not styrofoam. If it works as well as a Cambro, then it would be a great deal. Interested to see or hear about one in action.

Looks like something I'd like to have in the back of my wife's car, especially for groceries.
