    Default My Expedition Rig

I've watched and read alot on here, and wanted to say thanks to everyone for all of this, it is wonderful! I have an 88 GMC SUB that I have rebuilt to make more user friendly, including the trailer. It has 38 inch tires 60F/14R duel locked axles 4.88gears, w/ hydro-assist steering(RAVEN Power Steering 3037776640), 4inch w/folded sheet metal to make extra room, winch, rear step/luggage rack/spare tire holder, rebuilt the inside for living space including solar w/backup batteries, 454BB deep oil pan w/ oversized cooler, along w/ the radiator custom built oversized( SPike radiator3037627522), TBI (THANKS LARRY/ALEX). The tranny is a 700R4 deep pan w/ oversized cooler 241 transfer case (A&A transmission3037616133) ....The trailer 2x3 square tubing w/ pintle hook , LED rear lights, got rid of the RTT and put on a travel pack instead, the axle has had the diff removed and sleeved to match the truck w/a full spare. I can carry extra everything ... Fews yrs ago when I returned back from the sand, some friends and myself off roaded from Colorado to Canada and back(front range4x4.com ) look for trail report contential divide. I do alot of traveling w/ trailer and for the mileage watchers the truck gets a solid 15MPG in high altitude and 16MPG below 3000 feet (THANKS ALEX AND DAVID COMMAND PERFORMANCE 3037946701). Whether empty, full, trailer ,or not, running or not these are the mileages . I've had alot of help getting this truck where it is MANY MANY THANKS TO ALL THAT HAS HELPED . NOT FANCY but PRACTICAL.
The blue and red tubed rig is my cousin's (BILL'S ENGLEWOOD DRIVESHAFT 3037810554)I can list all the people that helped plus any question ask

How is the spare mounted on the rear of the truck? I would like to do the same on my '88.
