I could ditch the wife... I have a beautiful blonde on standby... I'm sure she would love the extra space!

Trump - its funny that a flippac was your next step as I built my rack to match yours! I do love the idea of a flippac...Unless I replace the 60/40 bench seat the wife isn't going to be to happy. She loves packing herself into the cab with stuff and sits there surrounded. I was thinking of putting in some aftermarket seats and a normal center console, but that might be throwing good money after bad.

Nemike81 - You got my blood pumping, what are you offering? Info would be great. oliver.love4@gmail.com if you wouldn't mind sending me some pictures. Or feel free to give me a call. 802-345-four9two7

Sorry... took me awhile to get back to you here. FWIW I'm planning on replacing the seats in mine with buckets. Not really because I'm unhappy with the 60/40 design rather than the support and comfort. 2-3 hrs of driving in these does a number on my lower back. I had dreamed of Mastercraft Baja RS seats, but will probably retrofit a couple buckets from another more supportive Toyota product to save money. Remember the mileage that many have racked up on these trucks. I think if buckets will solve your problem, go for it.

Whatever you do, stay away from later year 1st gen buckets. They are horrible. Toyota bucket seats hit the apex of comfort between 84-91?, then they started to take a dive.

You might try and find a set from an early 2nd gen 4runner and have them recovered or buy some utility style seat covers with lots of pockets on the back.

I wanted to stay true to Toyota when I did my seat swap, but I found a good deal on the G6 seats, and they had great reviews on Pontiac forums ( I know, Pontiac?). However, heated, leather, power and adjustable...I am not complaining anymore.

Yep, not looking at Tacoma seats... Thanks for checking though. I was reading good things about Celica and Scion Xb buckets. However, Mastercraft is a short drive from my place. Might end up being a hard choice.

I like my Procar by SCAT seats; Elite Lumbar.

Bolt in with their seat brackets. The side bolsters aren't overwhelming and you do feel better planted in the seat. The lumbar support is a real treat since I log extended miles to get to my destination. They're also just north of you in Redondo Beach.
