Colorado is not the desert or the gulf coast. I'm happy to see solutions for the problems people have in the yellow to red zones.



There are areas of this country and planet as a whole that are borderline intolerable in the summer vacation season, for gringos anyways. Take the Houston area for example: it's hot and humid for large parts of the year. Air conditioning is the only reason it is relatively habitable. There are things to do and places to camp on the gulf coast, but in the summer it's nice to be able to sleep without being drenched in sweat.
