Germany camper conversion

Hy,
i would like to buy a van or an ambulance in Germany and transform it into a 4 person camper.
I have some questions:

are there any motorhome salvage yards where i can find some motorhome parts? or i need a company in Germany who can install a cabine from an accidented camper on another truck.
or somebody who know to do camper conversions.

Is it difficult to change the registration from van or ambulance or truck to a 4 person camper registration?

Changing to a camper on the V5 is easy if you follow the guidelines in the UK at least.

Some people buy an old caravan for bits, but quality and the bits actually working in your set up might be an issue. The big hassle involved might make new bits a lot quicker and easier.

It would depend on the registration criteria of the country in which you intend to register the vehicle.

You are in Canada and you want to buy in Germany, but where do you intend to register the vehicle?

When you decide, check the appropriate webpage in that country of the vehicle registration authority, as they invariably have the information online.
