Default Automotive 12 VDC system battery connection question

Hey guys, i am looking for some of the heavier duty, battery post connection clamps for usage on both starter batteries and onboard deep cycles, that have extra integrated bolts and connection means for extra cables and wires to be fitted. What would be the proper name for them so that I can search for them appropriately online.

I was having a little difficulty finding same.

    Thanks, Chris

    Default battery distribution terminals

    Hi chris,
do you mean this:http://www.automarinecables.com/prod...use-box-66.htm better zoomable pic here:http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motors...ribution-board

    or this:http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/B...Terminals.html
the BT 440N & BT440p have multiple connections off the battery terminal post they both have red and black plastic parts that are not shown in the photo.
I have used these in the past, they are all made by auto marine but their webstite is poor.

I would think both are available over the water.

    regards

    Gren

Yes Gren, exactly what i was looking for. The three studded terminal connectors are more conducive to what my project requires. I appreciate the reply and the assistance, the arrangement of the particular wording of these type connectors found on the link you provided will not return any good results over here in North America. Crazy, i know they have to be for sale over here somewhere, i am just having a difficult time providing the search engines with the correct arrangments of wording, i suppose.

    Have used:
    12 dc voltage battery connectors
12 volt dc battery connector terminals
12 volt dc battery terminals with three studs

    Nothing...

I'll keep on searching, even a blind dog can stumble upon a bone every now and again.

Thanks a million for your help.

    Chris

Any automotive stereo installer - especially those who do the big amp, big woofer setups - will have those for sale.

Try searching for "battery terminal block", "marine battery terminal block" or "battery distribution block".
