We are back in town, having gotten home this past weekend.

On our way home my wife and I stopped off in Aspen, CO to visit a relative of hers. We got some time to drive up the backside of Aspen mountain and then took trail going down the face of mountain back to town. We stopped for lunch at Sundeck, which was amazing, and headed back down into town. Here are a few shots along the way.

We spotted this cool Synchro Westfalia just outside of town. And I would like to note that I have never seen so many old LandCruisers in one town, as I did in Aspen, pretty cool.

I love the pics of Elephant Hill! My wife and I took a six week vacation and drove from South Carolina to Utah. Elephant Hill was one of the places we weren't able to visit but really wanted to. I'm really enjoying your adventure!

It's cool to see fellow PA folks exploring the West (I'm from Pottsville).

I was on White Rim over Labor Day, so we just missed each other.

Jim,

Great to see you got out west as well. Every adventure has to start somewhere, and the drive out west is really not that bad. I am sure we will be getting out there more in the future.
