Hey Everyone. Found this site looking for something. A few months ago i decided to rebuild my 109.
I am doing something similar to Mercedesrover (bought the adapter from him) and that is i will be putting a Mercedes Turbo Diesel into my Rover and mating this to the series Transmission.. Jim has been a great help for a number for things and the adapter he made is top notch. Now if i can just get him to modify my oil pan :) .
My Rover is an Exmod from Norway, so it has a few cold weather options added, that and it was 24V. It will be converted to 12 Volt soon.
IT had some major issues and needed a new chassis. Found a 109 EXMod chassis in excellent condition (for a great price to) and am in the process of sandblasting that now. My Bulkhead needs work (good thing to as i will have to modify it to fit the engine).

modification during the buiild will be heavy and are not complete.
But some are.
MB Engine
New wiring (12 circuit)
2 x 12 V batteries (1 backup)
Custom dash and new gauges
Front disk brake conversion
Conversion to power steering.
looking at putting in an air conditioner somehow. (not sure yet)

That is just to start the list is long and not complete.

The redesign of the Rover is for an US/Canada Expedition vehicle
Oh and no it is not going to be repainted on the outside, just touched up.

Pictures can be seen in my Sig
But here are a few
