Hi I recently bought a 99 montero and it looks exactly like yours. I couldn't figure what color it is.

Has any one had any issues with the Horn going off in cold weather. When ever the temp goes below 30 degrees here in Park City and I go to start the Montero the horn starts going off and will not stop (Could disconnect the horns but kinda like to honk at people).

    Any ideas?

Also, have installed new tires, waiting on suspension parts (will be installed in about two weeks), and waiting on TJM Snorkel.

Has any one used Rocky Road (http://www.rocky-road.com/index2.html)?

Offroader: Nor really the alarm...no lights flashing...just horn going off not stop.

Gophere: Guess that is my next step is to remove alarm or disconnect the horns.

Like constantly on? In my experience, it can def still be the alarm or it could also be your horn button/circuit...

Constantly honking. If you hit the alarm key fob or try to start and hold alarm button in car the horn will continue to go off. So I guess that may point to horn button/circuit.

Horn relay sticking once it's energized. Should be a simple replacement.

Meter the power to the horn both at the horn and again just upstream from the relay while someone toots the horn. That should confirm (or rule out) the relay theory.
I could tell you more, but suddenly I am run over by a truck.

Welcome to the forum (a little belated, I know) I used Rocky Road when I bought my OME suspension, it went "ok", just took longer than expected to receive my stuff, as it was right around Christmas, OME was in the process of upgrading to different shocks, so I had to wait to get the new generation shocks, other than that the process was fairly smooth. What are thinking of getting from them?
