We just returned from a 4 day trip. 2 frozen spring water gallon jugs were still solid. 1 big bag of ice. Cooler worked great. Kept in shade. It was cooler at night which prob helped.

If you are into fun and inexpensive experimentation... next time at Lowes pick up an 25ft roll of 16" wide reflectix (two sided aluminum foil wrapped bubble foil). Wrap your cooler, tape with the extreme temp HVAC style aluminum tape. We took our 70qt YETI and our 85qt Engel Deep Blue coolers to one 20lb bag of ice per week easy, and arrive home with probably half still in cube form. I did an experiment in which after arriving home i took the remaining food out but kept the ice in rather than dump/clean... the cooler, opened each fake-meal-period, was still at a recorded 32 to 38 degrees for two weeks... I went ahead and dumped/cleaned at that point even though there was still ice as i had accomplished the primary goal of the experiment... Reflectix is a cheap way to boost the efficiency of a cooler.
