Trailer Tops...Anyone Attempt This?

Alright, so I am contemplating acquiring a tonneau cover, trimming it down and re-fiberglassing it to fit as my trailer "lid".

Anyone ever attempt this? Pro's and Con's?

I dont see why it would not work.
Find one cheap on craigslist, cut to size
add a contoured wood frame and glass over the raw edges.

If you do use one take pictures as you go.
