How does the XP camper attatch to the flatbed?

I know there are locating pins, but does it allow the camper to move up and down in relation to the bed?

On my XPC (#5) the locater pins have a threaded hole and are bolted to the bed. The monocoque design of the camper makes it very rigid but the flat bed has a small amount of flex built into it. After more than 6K miles I can safely say the system works very well.
