hey TUCSON t4 do you have the camera settings that you used for the scorpion photos ? . I would like to give that a try.
Thanks in advance............. Thomas
The trick was really having the black light to light them up. On both my Sony and my dad's Nikon, I just used the auto settings for the exposure and aperture and set it to manual for the focus. The auto focus didn't seem to work very well in the black light conditions. Also it takes a rather open exposure so you need to either have a very steady hand or a tripod. I used a tripod.
If you want one of those black lights to light them up, here's where I got mine:

Good hunting. :REOutShootinghunter
PS. I have also seen a big difference in the number of scorpions around here between the hottter months and now cooler winter temps. I could always find 6-10 in my front rock wall in the warmer weather. Now that it's cooler I usually only find one or two.
