ALL ITEMS HAVE NOW BEEN SOLD -- OCT 17 2012 -- THANKS!

After 3+ years of full time travel, my wife and I are "going stationary" in San Diego for a few years and will be selling all our expo gear including our Unimog GXV camper.

At the moment I have posted Craigslist ads for the following:

Two unused Pull Pal RW14000 winching anchors: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/tls/3338993050.html

One 15lb CO2 PowerTank with 0-250psi regulator, hose, inflation gauge, and carry bag: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/tls/3334522480.html

One 8000lb pull Tractel TU-32 wire rope manual winch / hoist and 60' of matched wire rope: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/tls/3335078812.html

Other gear and the Unimog camper itself I will post in a few days.

Everything is in San Diego. Pickup only please. Thanks!

Pull Pals and PowerTank are sold; only the winch remains

It looks like the pull pals and the powertank have been sold. Thanks all for the interest.

I'm not getting any love yet on the winch (http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/tls/3335078812.html). I will come down some on the price, but I'm thinking folks are not really understanding this ultra-fine machine! .. :)

The winch is pretty small (but 60 lb) thing that you store separately from the cable. You anchor the winch/hoist to something or the vehicle, you pop open the latches and slide the cable *through* the winch to take up slack, and then slip the collapsible lever over one of the winch "handles". Cranking on one handle runs the cable one way through the winch and cranking on the other reverses direction with no slip, risk, or muss. The thing is quick, man riding safe to 6000#, locks down at 8000# so that you can't exceed limits, and can be used in any position. If I had a "do over", I'd lose the electric winches on the jeep and Unimog and just go with this (plus sheaves and shackles).

Okay, end of the HOTW .. Hyping O' The Winch .. ;-)

Met David yesterday picking up the powertank for TacoDoc. Great guy with an unbelievable Unimog camper!!! I checked out the winch setup and it is REALLY cool. It was bigger than I expected but after seeing the Unimog, I understood why. It's not huge but it's no cheap, light duty unit. This is the real deal for manual winching. Very easy to setup and take down. Might be a little overkill for the average Tacoma, Rover or such but anyone with a large rig or heavy rig, this would be a great item.

No affilication, kick backs or anything, just passing on what I saw.
