simple Nook + GPS used as Glider computer.

I like the concept of an E-ink gps tool and i like the size.
Sunlight readable display...and inexpensive.

I use my ipad 2. It is large and usability is excellent but my wife and i
are constantly moving it around, fighting for space upfront.

Also, I wonder what the Nook battery life would be...

the tech is a bit over my head but im sure some of you can figure it out.

I got a Nook SimpleTouch for my birthday a couple weeks ago. Androided it. I like.

I haven't run the battery down. Using it to read ebooks, I've used it for 12 hours in a single day and it was at something like 88% battery remaining, but I plug it in at night so I don't really know what the full battery life is.

I used it for, I think about 4 hours, to surf the net reading news and whatnot one day (running the wifi), and it was at something like 93%.
