2 bbl carb to 4bbl question

Picked up a 73 Power Wagon and on top of the 360 CU engine is a 2 bbl carb.

How much HP and torque can I feasibly get (if any) by changing the carb and manifold over to a 4 bbl carb?

Not trying to go faster just more pulling power.

I suspect no gains and an increase in fuel use. Your focus should be increase in volumetric efficiency (VE) larger air filtration and pathway to carb then exhaust to reduce back pressure. Check your exhaust back pressure before any mods then you will have a starting point to go by.

Depends on the carb you choose. Most only use the secondaries when at or close to WOT. Otherwise you're driving around with essentially a 2 barrell anyway. You will get more power out of a 4 barrell but you won't like your fuel bill if you choose to use it a lot!
