Default M416 on my first post

I was just told about this forum and this is my first post.

I just completed a significant referb of a 1967 M416 trailer. This trailer was extremely rough. Beat up badly. The frame was in very good shape however. I was able to clean out the tub and make it useable.

I am in the process of trying to find a hard tonneau cover that will support load on top. Perhaps a tent.

    Any idea's?

Here is a like to the pictures of the trailer. http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...?id=2089861910

What a great little resto man! Good job!

I think if you search lids on this forum you will get some good ideas of what to do for your needs for a cover.

Honestly I don't know. I bought them at a local trailer mfg's retail store. There is no brand name on them. The store I got them from sells all types of parts. I wish I could help you more. ???

Seeing things like this pushes me a little closer to abandoning the idea of exoskeleton topper rack and just getting a trailer.

    Welcome to ExPo!

Yeah - the whole idea of trailer all setup and ready at a moments notice has a lot of appeal. Talk about a bug out bag... Anywho, I am exploring trailers now, gathering as much info as I can - it seems the prices are all over the place - and there are more models out there than I had guessed. Do I buy one ready to go (lots of $$$) or build a military? I like the later ideal so far...

This trailer is a really nice one! No matter what I get, the trailer will have more off road capability than that stinking, good for smooth road only, IFS Tacoma of mine...
