I have an 04 expedition it just started where I can turn the switch to start the truck and it will not start but I jumped it off and it fired right up. Sunday morning we got up to go to church and it wouldnt start I tried jumping it this time and it wouldnt jump off. I took the battery and alternator in to have them checked and the alternator failed but the battery past it fired up I turned it off try to crank it right back it it fired up I turned it off try to crank it right back it would not crank friend of mine that works at O'Reillys that has an expedition said he has done a similar thing in the cylinoide had went out on he is does this sound like a starter problem or does it sound like the security system also I got it cranked today and I drove it around and I turned off it fired right back up 7 different times now that it has cooled off in the dark it will not crank
