purchased a 1965 Thiokol Imp 1402 open top back in August.

this is how I picked it up...

so I dont want to get all boring with the build process and its details,
for any curious minds, feel free to visit the picasa album @

but this is what she looks like right now...

the roof rack on the rear cab was built to have a RTT mounted on it, thus with the added annex room, this will become a 3 room cat camper.

to give you an idea on its parameters/size (I'm 5ft 11in)

video is a bit of a "russian language" mix, but it gives you a general idea...

Very cool, Thiokols are pretty common around here as they were a local company (later sold to John Delorean of DMC fame). Super cool setups.

Wait, what?????? This is the coolest rig that I have seen posted yet. Tell me more about this thing. How did you find it and what did it cost before you rehabbed it?

With something like that I could get into snow. Very cool build and nicely done!

The picasa album shows the attention of detail, very impressive

Nikon very Beautiful job you've done on my old Imp.
I sold it to Bill a couple years ago and have wondered what happened to it.

Now I know again what a great job you did!

Do you know what state it's in now!

Prices vary depending on what condition you find it in. This is one of a kind, custom built/restored main components, basically new from the factory floor (see my youtube channel for more info). Not sure what I would sell it for, I'll start bidding at $75k probably.

Used to be originally a DMC 1450
