That's the same setup I have, it's worked well for 110,000 miles.
08 FJC - Somewhat kitted out, pulling an A/T Horizon.
image.jpgAdmittedly not the fanciest setup, but I've been using this for years. Take a treated 2x12, cut it to fit precisely between the notches in your pickups bed, drill out a couple of holes to mount the jack with some locknuts, fender washers, and wing nuts, and you're done. I used the thick rubber coil spring "helpers" as isolators (I drilled holes in them also). On my rig, i got lucky and the notches in the bed are right behind where the container sits for the roll-up bedcover. When I close the bedcover, the jack is secure and out of the weather.image.jpgimage.jpg

used HL - 4X4 mounts...
bolted thru the inner bed wall
(^ reaching up between the inner and outer sheet metal to install nuts/fender washers... was a pita)
This is a 60" so it's heavy...
the weight is supported by resting on the fender well.
It is a little hassle to remove for use...
but I hope to not use it very often
Just on special occasions![]()
