For now the front will stay open. I will install a zip or arb locker this summer when I do the 4.8 v8 and 5speed.

This summer or whenever the 4.3 blows up. I will swap in a 4.8 v8 and nv4500. The rear suspension will get upgraded to 1/2 ton.63" chevy rear springs to help with the cargo and keep.some articulation.

Well finally back on this project. I have sold traded off all the other things. I have also moved 2 times and bought a nice daily driver. So tonight we got the front axle out and the new one close to where it needs to be. I'm looking for a 20-24" frame height with 35" tiers.
