    Default 225's camper build.

First post here. I am building a camper. Soon to be followed by a 4WD Ford van I am building too.

I have made some progress and here is what I've done so far. I hope you enjoy.

I am building a "Weekender" style camper, with a few mods. Mostly on the frame. I want to be able to haul more gear and my 2 supermoto's on them.

    Outline:

    The steel:

    Cut and ready to weld.

Did I mention I had to TIG weld all this?

    Fender mock up:

And this is where I am at right now. The light boxes was removed, to be replaced with square tubing with plate steel on top, so I can stand on them.

Also the frame looks warped. It's not. The frame is on really bumpy ground.

    Tongue extends out:

    Other stuff:

Ordered the rest of the parts I needed to start the actual construction of the camper.

    Hurricane hinge:

    Door:

    Epoxy filler:

    Ordered these for the hatch.

Now I can start building. The outside will almost be completely sealed once I start. Other than bed liner. Which I will order soon.

Today I bought a Progressive Dynamics PD40450 power panel.

The only thing I can think of that I don't have is wood, the actual wires for wiring, bed liner, window a/c unit, tv mount, and a mattress.

I wanted to have everything I could think of ready that way when I start the construction, I don't have to wait on anything.

Well, I went the Benroy profile. I just love it too much. I built the template from paper, so I will have to make adjustments for the door. Also, I welded the fenders and taillight boxes on. I also painted the fenders and over spray on the tires flat black. I am going to box in, in between the rear fender and taillight boxes and fill it with expanded metal.

It's too dark for pics, but I took a break from wiring up the trailer. So tomorrow, I'll start on the floor, and should be finished with it sometime tomorrow.
