I am planing a 3 month trip in 2014 where I want to do a lap of Australia avoiding formed roads where possible.
The aim is for a easly repaired, strong but as light as possible trailer that I can live out of comfertly.
I live in a semi remote part of northern Aust with most of the roads in the area being very rough and a good mates business is repairing broken trailers so we see what fails on trailers.
Hubs are 5 on 5.5 10" electric drums with large bearings and cable park brake, 2000kg axle, eye-eye 300kg springs, poly block hitch and 700x15 tyres on stock Suzuki rims.
Chassis is 40x40x3 and drawbar is 75x50x3.
Hopefully the springs and axle will be in this weeks freight so I can then flip it over and start on working out how to attach the tent.
