    Default bed covers

first off this is a wonderful site. I think I have read the entire forum post to post twice now. I figured if anyone could help - it would be you guys....

Im looking for a bed cover that will allow me use the factory rails and be able to mount a tool box of some sort behind the cab for a dual battery set up, along with other odds and ends.
I know I found one that let me the rails but it was a roll up and i dont think I would be able to get a toolbox in there. which means Id have to make a custom waterproof box.
thanks for any help in advance.

guess i forgot to say i have a 2006 tacome trd access cab

    Welcome!

I am not sure if I am understanding what you are looking for... I think you are looking for a toneau cover that allows a toolbox?

For the tool box and toneau cover, go with a set up similar to this TruXedo:

Or a Pace Edwards Roling cover:

thanks for the help. im really bad at explain things some times. i found the full metal jack rabbit by pace edwards last night and it looks like what im lookin for. only problem is the container the cover stows into is going to make finding a low pro tool bax alittle hard i think. more so with me being over seas in england.
push comes to shove ill just have to break out the fiberglass and make a custom box i guess.
anyone ever used a pace edwards cover?

So you have a Hilux!? Oh if we only had the desiel here people would kill for them!

PE is a good brand from what I have heard. A bit on the pricey side, but good quality. I know there is a company out there that has the rolling tonneau cove that stores (rolls back) into the tool box. I looked for the link last night but I lost it somehow.

P.E. has some good stuff. You might want to ask on TTORA or Custom Tacos if anyone is using them and get some first hand info.
