Mitsu Fuso Camper examples

Here's a slide-in truck camper mounted on an older Fuso FG. The owner is forum participant "zippymon." The camper is a 1968 Avion. The truck is a 1998 FG with flatbed and a custom aluminum storage box.

Now that looks good! One question, why is the awning attached to the roof instead of the side pf the camper? Looks like a Ute tray too.

Would you accept an entry that's not a Fuso? This is a similar class truck with some interesting features, like an over-cab bed.

Usually on a cab-over you can't have an over-cab bed because you have to be able to tilt the cab to access the engine. This on uses a tilt-bed truck, so that you can access the engine by tilting the camper back, then the cab forward.





It also has drop-down panels that raise up to 'fill out' the flatbed when the camper is demounted:

Australian Kym Bolton designed this pop-up camper for a trip across Asia in 2007.

That rig just looks so perfect. Hands down my favorite.

That SRW Shop truck looks great as well.

Interesting. It appears that they hinged the cab-over section to allow the cab to tilt.

Also the first time I've seen a full-sized pass-through on a cab-over truck. I'd certainly like more info on how they sealed that.
