Had a productive day. I changed my rear diff and transfer case fluid. I added some more gasket material under my topper hopefully that will stop the little leak I had upfront. Mounted my new cobra 75 and mag mount antenna and I bent up a panel to hold my blue seas aux fuse panel.

My truck looks weird without the topper on it. But thank god for using the over head crane in the hangar made it pretty easy.

Ran the coax the same as my last antenna

And where it will be plugging in and in its holder when in use. But I will just keep it in the center console when it's not in use .

Since this seems to be the unofficial Coast Guard meet-up page. Danny, from Deland, Florida. Active, Recruiting in Riverside, CA. Do you ever see any good waves out at Pasagshac ? Not sure if i spelled that right but last time I was up in Kodiak I heard it was a good place to surf.

Hhahahhaha ya I kinda is. Ya pasagshack gets some pretty decent waves at times but a lot of the time it is pretty flat. I can't wait to go back to a place where I can skimboard and body surf again!! What were you doing here and how do you like the 909? Ahahahha

SWITAWI

Doesn't Get Out Enough
Mounted my shovel via quick fist mounts

Get a piece of rubber/plastic door edge trim to keep on the lower edge of your shovel blade. Those QuickFists won't let go, but after a few miles on a bumpy track they will let that round handle rotate enough that the shovel blade will be resting/vibrating against your topper. I don't mind mine rubbing on the bottom of my hitch carrier (lower left in the picture below), but it does rub/rattle against it.

Wow, it has been years since I've been to Saultry Cove. No picture of the washout?
no we turned around before that. We started a little late in day and were just cruising, plus we had to trim in a few spot so we turned around at mile 16.

SO I mounted my National Luna single battery monitor to keep an eye on my group 31. Mounted it in my sunglasses holder and the best part is I can still fit a pair of shades in there

I really dig that pelfrybuilt battery tray. Sooo nice. I've seen plenty of those batteries mounted without anything fancy but you certainly did it the right way. I kind of want to put in a group 31 just so I 'need' the mount!

Nice rig! What headlight housings are you running?
I'm running eBay headlights that had the bhlm done already. Then I added retrofit projector from theretrofitsource.com that I custom painted the projector bezel white, I also painted the reflector bowl black since the projectors don't use them.

thanks the mount does give me piece of mind since the battery is so big and so heavy. Knowing that it isn't going anywhere make me feel better.
