Nice! When are you heading down to SD? I live about 15 mins away from the station.
I leave Kodiak on the 21st of June and report around the 6th of July. I will be stopping in huntington beach for a couple days to see my family. I'm getting so excited I can't wait. I just started doing all my transfer/move paperwork last week. 3 more months :wings:

Got my interior lighting in today. With two 6 foot sections, if I need more light all I need to do is attach more with the special no solder connectors that I got.

So I mounted the wind deflector that I made for when I tow my trailer to my truck today, I just bolted it it to the rack, it's made out of some scrap aluminum that we had down at the hangar. I took it in the paint booth an threw a couple coats on it.

And with it mounted, it's the perfect width of the rack

Got some new smaller tires and steel wheels for my trip down to San Diego this summer. I think these will help my power and mpg while towing my 6x10 cargo trailer.

Truck and trailer looking great! I have a question regarding your mag mount antenna on the roof. Did you run the coax through the third brake light housing? I am looking to do the same but dropping the headliner is a bit intimidating to me. Maybe you ran the coax a different way?? TIA

I've done the same thing, kept the stock Dunlop tires and rims for PCS moves and long highway road trips. A little smoother ride, plus you're not wearing out expensive AT tires on thousands of miles of blacktop. Have a safe drive South!

ya I ran it through the third brake light across the the overhead to down the pillar next to the left rear passenger seat then down the wire channel that's under the kick plate. Dropping the headliner completely isn't neccessary. I just loosened enough to get my hands in there to grab and run the coax.

Looks like great minds think alike :bike_rider:thanks man

Got some new smaller tires to use on our road trip down to San Diego this summer as I are due to transfer down to air sta San Diego. Since I will have the trailer behind I figured it will be nice to get a little bit of power and mpg back.
