The only real concern is the little doohickie (don't you love that technical term?) that the pot presses up against to release the liquid from the filter area and into the pot. As long as the new pot will press against that, it should work. I have the same coffee maker and the cheap pot that came with it broke the first time I used it (not the glass but the metal band that holds the handle on).
I would just make sure to buy the pot from a source that has an easy return policy and try it out.
