Long time lurker with a few small posts here and there. I figured I need to start contributing and stop being such a sponge. One can really "waste" some time on this site!:coffeedrink:
So here's my ride! It is, as always, a work in progress. Thanks for looking!

Purchased "The Wombat" back in '09 with less than 100k on the odometer and pretty much stock.

After bringing her home, typical tune-up items and then a slight torsion crank, bilstein 5100 shocks and walker-evans wheels with 295/70r17 Nitto Terra-Grapplers (slightly used).P1020131.jpg
Not a great picture of the truck, but you can see my two leading ladies!

Better pictures except I was messing around with what it would look like with a 4-6" lift.

Next up was a 1.5" body lift then a Leer camper shell and carpet kit.

Some poser pics when I was out scouting some quail hunting territories.

Wanted to get rid of the body lift and replace it with a proper lift. Came across a Rough Country Non-Torsion Drop 4" lift for a price I (or my wife) could refuse!

The kit came with basic shocks and a 5" block for the rear. Not one to leave well enough alone, I ordered up BDS Suspension's Fox Racing Shocks and full replacement leaves.

Ordered up some ARB fender flares to help keep some of the mud off the windows and mirrors. They are really nice looking at fitting! I much prefer them over the stock flares on my Dad's Chevy Duramax. I have a little bit of body work to do on the bed before I can fit the rears on properly. I don't think it looks too bad with just the fronts for now.

What a great transformation! Love this bodystyle
Thank you heehawhardy! This is my favorite vehicle I have ever had. There will always be a special place in my heart for the 97 TJ Wrangler and 99 Durango I had, but this truck is more comfortable, hauls way more, gets better fuel mileage and is more capable than the Durango and does 98% of what I could do in my TJ.

You should see the looks I get from the guys I pass on trails while they're stuck or fixing their Jeeps or old Toyotas on 35s. :Wow1:

A few months back I was actually able to recover two Dodges, a Ford, and a Jeep all in one week. All I needed was a Toyota and a Nissan to round out my list (not too many Rovers or others around here)!

Finally got to set up my camper tent add-on today for the first time. Can't wait to get out and actually use it!

It all rolls up and packs into a small carrying bag.
