Inreach with iPad - nice combo

I switched over to Inreach from my old Spot and have it paired with an iPad for back country GPS mapping and two way satellite texting when the need arises. Now that I have used it a few times I really like this set up. Definitely gives you peace of mind knowing you have reliable communications when out of cell range and need assistance.

I'm sure Ram mount or some other company has a good solid mount for the iPad. Since I was not rocking and rolling over rough trails I just had it laying on the passenger seat.

I did get an Otterbox cover for the iPad that protects it nicely and doubles as a good stand.
