Arrow 05-06 Diff Breather Extension Mod

I did the diff breather extension mod on my 05 Tacoma last weekend.
Part #90404-51319 ($8) fits the new Taco, I also used about 4 ft of 3/8 fuel line and some zips/hose clamps. Re used the stock breather on top, then routed it up to and secured it to the filler neck with zips. Easy.

Just thought I'd share which part fits the new Tacomas for this very necessary mod, just in case others need to do it

    Later,

    Default Some Links......

I used a couple sites to get info on this. I have done my front and rear, but not my transfer case yet.

I don't know if there are new "how to's" for new Toyota's like yours.......why don't you start one?

Great post! I still need to raise the breathers on my front and rear diffs.

I may be wrong, but I think your front diff breather is already extended by the factory up into the engine bay like my 4Runner. I did have to extend my rear breather.

That is correct for the 05 but previous gen may be different. I still need to take a long hard look at the tranny and t-case vents though...

My '02 Taco 4dr TRD had both the front diff and transfer case breathers extended into the engine bay from the factory, so I just had to extend the rear. Fyi.
