A few of the FJ in various locations... it's been a wonderful vehicle, and still is.

Available starting in mid-July to a new owner... I'll get use out of it in E. Africa in the meantime, so I'm not in a rush to find it a new home.

However, I'd love to sell to a fellow Expo'er or someone else who will give her more adventures.

Happy to deliver it anywhere between Kampala and Juba (north-south) and between Lake Albert and Gulu (east-west).

Currently on Ugandan URA license plates (UAQ) with taxes fully paid through next year.

I have Camburg coil overs up front...they are great....the back seems miss-matched...

I have broken three sets of springs...the stockers, the repaired stockers...and a set of 5 leaf Deavers...loved how the Deavers rode, but they broke...so I think I over compensated with the Dakar Heavies....they are great for hauling loads...but never liked how they rode from the get go. And since the truck has lost 350 lbs. by the ditching the Wildernest...man it really blows now. I haul 25 gallons of water at the tailgate are to keep it somewhat tolerable.


I probably won't go full long travel in the front...just add an emulsion with a reservoir shock and revalve the Camburg coilover.

I guess I can see you haviing problems. I don't get carried away with my truck. It is mostly just trailriding and hauling a bunch of camping gear and an RTT over the bed. I wouldn't mind trying the OME Dakars in the future.

Yeah, I am just not overly impressed with them. The rear is real skitterish...even at slower speeds like 25-30 mph. Now my buddy's long travel Taco...it stays planted, and soaks most everything up, and actually quite a joy to drive off-road. Where I find mine annoying.

Rear suspension is a 3 link with 14" coilovers that pulls 15" of travel. Front is Cambug's LT, with the modified fender wells/CVs it cycles over 14".

True true...I use the dirt bike for the rough stuff anyway. Really only need the Taco to haul moto gear...

Roll Cage install is done, front tube doors are on due to electrical issues with the main doors, but I have tubes for all 4.
