oh man - great link - crazy story - these 2 guys from canada in a normal (non-longtravel or anything) landy racing their first race ever (any kind of race that is) in Baja 1000 with 1 support vehicle (their mom and dad piloting it) and they made it!!!

well, I guess, it's not quite a normal landy - it is rather a "rally prepped" by land rover vehicle that has done many off-road races before, but still crazy people...
