I've been reading many of the posts on here regarding GPS preferences. Currently, I'm using a Garmin 276c and Map Quest and it does a nice job. However, I really want a larger screen to show a larger area. So, I've been leaning toward an Apple I-Pad w/the retinal display, and then get the Garmin Glo. From what I've been reading on here there are numerous maps available in the app store (I'm 90% of my usage is in AZ.) So my questions are after I download maps from the App Store onto my I-Pad can I then use the cursor and "draw" my route and save it? Can I toggle between different maps ie Motion X and others and still overlay my planned route? Any help greatly appreciated :beer:
