ARB Releases Deluxe Bar for Jeep Grand Cherokee

As the American SUV landscape continues to shift, many platforms once extolled for their off-road prowess can now be found taking up residence in the rather pedestrian crossover segment. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of few holdouts, desperately clinging to dirty roots and the promise of authentic backcountry fun. To best compliment its capabilities, ARB now offers a bumper solution for the 2011-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I’m Addicted to Pinterest and I Don’t Care Who Knows It

So...I've recently realized that I'm potentially spending way too much of my time on Pinterest, I think it's official—I have an addiction. I'm not organizing my kitchen with DIY crafts, nor am I looking at pictures of smores or things I could make for dinner, and certainly I'm not contemplating different colors for the living room. I'm using Pinterest to build a Jeep, a manly Jeep, one with big tires and bright lights, and other manly stuff. Believe it or not, Pinterest is helping me figure out how I want to build it, and organizing it in a way I've never been able to before. Tire of the Future: Polaris TerrainArmor

It would appear the concept of a non-pneumatic off-road tire is making a rapid transition from theory to reality with the Polaris TerrainAmor tire as offered on their Sportsman MV 850 TA Edition ATV. We began seeing prototype non-pneumatic tires several years ago, but it seemed those first efforts would never bare fruit as a host of engineering complications conspired to continually put off final production. Polaris has since overcome many of those challenges to offer a tire which has been exhaustively tested in military applications over the last year.

Toyota Cruisers & Trucks Magazine: Sharing our passion for Toyota Vehicles
By Shane Williams, Publisher, TCT Magazine

The road to creating Toyota Cruisers & Trucks (TCT) Magazine actually started long before I owned a Toyota vehicle. Growing up in Michigan, Toyota vehicles were somewhat taboo, so when I moved to Colorado as a US Air Force member, like many others my first 4x4 was a Jeep. I actually ended up owning three Jeep XJs (an ’87, ’91, and ’01) over the years.

In 2006 when I returned from a USAF Reserves deployment, my new bride inquired about that unique looking Toyota SUV with 3 windshield wipers. It was August and our neighbors down the street were one of the first in town to purchase the eagerly anticipated FJ Cruiser. Of course I’d known about the FJC since it was announced as a production vehicle, but never thought Angie would be interested in a 4x4 meant more for tough trails than creature comforts.
