Over the last few years, this thing we call "overlanding" has exploded, people have been inspired to take the back road instead of blasting down the highway, they've started taking their family camping in some of the most beautiful parts of the world instead of staying in a hotel. People have started to get out and see the world, even if it's just a little bit more than they used to. Most of the reason for that is people just like you reading this—you're the ones inspiring people to get out. We're thankful to have you as loyal readers and members of Expedition Portal. Needless to say, it's been a big year for us, first we surpassed 1,000,000 posts in our forum, and now we're incredibly exited to announce that we have over 50,000 members! Again, we really like to stress that none of this is possible without our loyal viewers and members, it's you that makes this the finest community for overland travellers in the world.
