If you're looking for a new set of lights for your vehicle, and even remotely considering Lightforce's Genesis HID offering—you need to take a look at this charity auction. It's being put on by ConserVentures (the people behind Overland Expo) for the benefit of Elvis Munis, a 24-year-old student and conservationist from Tanzania who is riding his bicycle around the world. His journey, aptly named, "Chile to Kili" will take him from Chile to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania covering thousands of miles in hopes to raise $100,000 to send ten young Tanzanians to college. You can check out the adventures of Elvis on his website chiletokili.com [link]
Seriously, they're starting the lights (which have a retail price of $750) at a mere $300. They were generously donated to Conserventures by Expedition Portal Member Mark Mackaway, who won them in an Overland Journal promotion.
