We've spent the last few months scooting around the deserts and pine forests of Arizona on a Suzuki V-Strom 650 Adventure and needless to say we've been impressed. Just because the 'Strom comes from the factory a little bit more oriented towards street-based adventure riding doesn't mean that the bike can't tackle the trail with authority after a few upgrades—the most important being a skid plate. We installed Touratech's offering onto our 650 (which you can read about here. [link]) and were impressed with the quality and factory-like fitment. Touratech has a complete line of accessories for the V-Strom including auxiliary lighting, aluminum pannier systems (if you didn't purchase the Adventure model), tank and tail bags, protection, and more.
