If you're a Land Rover enthusiast in the know, then the name East Coast Rover is likely synonymous with meticulous quality, and the amazing Defender and Series trucks they build. Based in Maine, they're one of the leaders in the Land Rover restoration business, and we just found some cool information on their facebook page [link]. ECR is trying to get rid of a boat load of old Series Land Rovers, and I'm taking it personally to help them find a good home, according to ECR, they're all mostly complete and all are restoration worthy. You'll have to make a trip to the great state of Maine to check them out, because they will only be selling them in person. If you've been looking for an old Land Rover project this might just be your chance to get one on the cheap.
No information was left on how to contact them to purchase the vehicles, but we'll assume giving them a call at (207)-594-8086 will get everything sorted.

From the East Coast Rover facebook page:
The time has come to clean up the yard. We have been buying and restoring Series Rovers for a long time, and now that we no longer work on Series Rovers it is time to let them go to homes that can use them for parts or restore them. We have a SIIA 109 pick up, 3x SIIA 109 Station Wagons (1 is a NADA 6 cyl) , a SIIA 88 pick up and a number of SIIA and SIII 88s, including some SIIA "bug-eyes". All are factory LHD, 12 volt and petrol. We have no 24 volt or military Rovers. They are mostly complete and all are restoration worthy (we scrapped the ones that were too far gone). If a Rover project is what you are looking for come check them out and bring a trailer. To be clear, these are all restoration projects. All need frames and major work. You will need to come look and pick the one you like best. We will not be selling any of these Rovers via pictures. We want the buyer to know exactly what they are getting and that means you need to see it with your own eyes.
Viewing is buy appointment only.
Maine does not offer titles for vehicles this old, so all Series Rovers are sold on a Bill of Sale only.
Thank you!
