I am selling a Very Rare right hand Drive 1972 2 Door Classic with a 200tdi Turbo Diesel engine conversion. The conversion is Not Complete I lost interest and an selling it as is. Engine and transmission alone are worth $2500.00! Engine runs and is strong. The drive train is from a 1990 Defender 130 so it is very robust drivetrain. The Range Rover is pretty complete I would say 90 to 95%, the drive train is about the same 80 to 90% complete. Some parts will need modifying and as with any engine conversion you will need to fabricate some things.
All parts are available for the drive train from Rovers North.
The way I see this is that the 2 door classic is worth min. $2500.00 and the 200tdi drivetrain is worth at least that as well.
As a matter of fact I believe that someone on ebay is selling the 200 tdi motor alone for $2999.00
Please think long and hard this in not a turnkey car although you can turn the key nothing will happen until you put it all back together
