
Little is known about the Nissan Patrol in the United States. For starters, it was only imported from 1962-69, and it was percieved as being so similar to the FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser, that people often assumed they were just a Toyota product. Worldwide the Nissan Patrol is well-known for it's reliability. It was actually the first vehicle to cross Australia's Simpson Desert - an honor often mistakenly given to the Land Cruiser.
