As the FJ60 drives itself further and further down the road to collector status, prime examples of the model are being snatched up quicker than a donut at fat camp. Seriously - when you start to add up the vehicles that have fallen victim to the usual Toyota rust problems, motor vehicle accidents, or just lack of care, the attrition rate is shockingly high - especially when you consider that not many of these vehicles were imported to the 'States in the first place. Here's your chance to find a clean, one owner, rust free California car with just over 55,000 miles on it, for a very reasonable price.
At the time of this article the FJ60 was fetching just over $12,500 at auction - I'm thinking that isn't too bad. What do you think? Tell us below in the comments!
You can find it here on eBay Motors. [link]

Here's what the seller has to say about the vehicle:
1982 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER
55908 ORIGINAL 1 OWNER MILES
CALIFORNIA CAR WITH ZERO RUST
For your consideration is this 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser with 55908 original miles. This an original one owner car that has been in California since day one. I have combed over this Land Cruiser from top to bottom looking for any signs of rust and have not come up with any. There is still original paint in the wheel wells that would probably shine up to this day. I have the original California license plates that go with the sale along with some odds and ends parts that the previous owner included with the car. The original owner was an airline pilot who was out of town most of the time which reflects the current mileage.
Everything looks to be completely original on the car except for the chrome wheels and the tires. The paint is in pretty good shape considering it's never been painted and it's been around the California sun. The Land Cruiser has been recently buffed and whoever did it burned through the paint in a couple of spots. Like I said, it does look great for being 30 years old. The Land Cruiser comes with the diamond rubber mats from Specter off road for the front, middle, and back areas. The original tool kit comes along with the Land Cruiser as well.
I just had the Land Cruiser completely serviced at a Toyota dealer and the A/C is blowing ice cold. The rear a/c/heat unit under the passenger seat works as well. I have driven this Land Cruiser myself for the last few months and it is truly a neat truck to have. Service records for this car will also go with sale documenting most all the servicing over the years. Own a piece of history and please bid with confidence. 785-633-9336
