Often overlooked, rock sliders are one of the most valuable upgrades you can make to your off-highway vehicle, especially if you're on the trail in one of Toyota's newest-generation 4Runners. One wrong move, or a rock that decides to unseat itself, and your pretty new truck is going to be in the shop for some extensive bodywork. Fortunately for owners of the newest generation 4Runner - Slee Off Road has just announced that they are now offering bolt-on sliders for all 2010+ models.

The sliders consist of a frame mount flange, three legs per side and the main slider body. The frame flange bolts to the frame utilizing existing holes in the frame. The frame flange has three mounting fixtures welded to it for the attachment of the legs. Each leg is attached to the flange with five 3/8" bolts. This ensures a solid mount with no movement.

The legs are attached to the main slider body using four 3/8" bolts per leg. The legs bolt to mounting tabs welded into the slider body. The slider body is formed out of 3/16" steel and functions as both a step and a slider.

There are two aluminum tread plates attached to the top surface of the slider body. These can be supplied in black or gray. The tread plates have dimples that form a non-slip surface. The main slider body is cut with the same pattern as the tread plates to prevent dirt / ice build-up. The sliders are finished with 60% gloss powder coat finish. Pre-treatment includes baking (to remove all oil), phosphate washing and sandblasting before powder coating is applied.

The SliderStep is unique that it features a bolt together design that is as strong as a welded slider. Having the slider bolt together allows for shipping with UPS or Fedex, eliminating the need for truck freight.
