If you're a regular follower, you've undoubtedly seen countless overland vehicles among like likes of the Land Rover Defender, Jeep Wrangler, and Toyota Land Cruiser. But what you probably haven't seen are the big boys—the overland campers, that's because they're rarely found in North America, and it's not something you see every day. But luckily between the Abenteuer und Allrad show in Germany and the Overland Expo in the United States, we've been able to find a few. Generally built upon the likes of heavy-duty Ford trucks, Mercedes Unimogs, and MANN missile platforms, these vehicles will take you around the world in total comfort. Often outfitted with everything you'd find at home, from a dish-washer, washer and dryer, hardwood floors and the whole kitchen sink, its more like living in a small apartment than a vehicle. We just don't want to see the gas bill.
